“Painted after a week in the lake district. It rained most of the time but we had a lovely walk through the woods, on the way to see a water fall. I don’t remember the views much because I walked looking down most of the time watching where I was putting my feet. To cross a stream we all had to step on one particular stone, which may have been there for thousands of years. It struck me that everyone who had crossed here for millennium had stood on that stone. It support us on our way, which is why it’s called, ‘Buddha Stone'”. Jez Prior
